We are truly blessed and humbled that we are almost fully booked for this year!
We would like to say to all the couples that has booked us, a very big THANK YOU for all your support that you have given to us. 2015 is set to be our biggest year yet, till now we still couldn’t believe it and when we sat back and reflected on that fact, it almost took our breath away.
Shooting a wedding isn’t an easy job; you spend an average of 10 hours on your feet, carrying around 7kg of gear, scuffling with photobombers, crouching, climbing, doing whatever it takes to get the shot. After you return home you spend time backing up your memory cards the body aches will slowly creep up on you. Along comes the editing; the sneak peeks, the culling, the cropping, the perfecting. The galleries are loaded, the backups are (again) made and putting all the final images into our packaging. Also not to mention there are the meetings in the evening, and the-pain-the-in-ass house chores. Is it glamorous? Not really. But do We love it? HELL YEEAH!
For us, there’s just something magical about weddings, two families and friends coming together to celebrate the union of two people who are very much in love. As I listen to not only the reception speeches but the chatter going on throughout the wedding day, it’s amazing to even try to wrap your mind around how happy everyone is. As cheesy as it sounds, we love weddings because we love happiness… It’s that simple.
